Brari Summit Loop

Summary: There are two main summits of Brar Mountain. The South summit is the higher one. We went there on Mother Teresa day 2011, which is in October, and a good time to attempt the summit. Much of the loop hike is exposed to the west, and can get very hot in summer. We elected to start the hike in Priske e Vogel, but it can also be done from Brar village with the same effort and enjoyment.

General location and approach: Leave Tirana via Bathore, towards Zall Herr. Turn right (away from the gravel road onto a pievce of asphalt) to Priske e Vogel. The trailhead as marked on the map allows one car to be parked. It might not be advisable to continue further by car, as the road becomes narrow and it might be difficult to park or turn your car.
