General location and approach: Varushi is along the Kavaja road, between Tirana and Kavaja. Watch out for the sig to Varoshi Castle. We took a slight variation to the trail, with a shortcut back to the Kavaja road and along the road (towards Tirana) to reach the trailhead where we had parked our car. This makes about 6.2 kilometers.

Other Information: There are only some few remnants of the walls left, but the place of the castle provides very good views into all directions - including views of Dajti, Skenderbeut mountain and others, as you have never seen them before!

GPS and trailmaps: The map and trailinformation is generated by www.wikiloc.org, based on GPS information collected from the actual hike. Waypoints can be downloaded to a GPS device from Wikiloc.
